Attention persons of the Latino community: First Lady Jill Biden doesn’t think you’re a taco. Neither is she of the opinion that you are as “unique and diverse” as a taco.

You’re not a taco. You’re not even remotely similar to a taco. People are NOT TACOS – especially Latino people.

That’s not to say Jill Biden doesn’t like tacos, mind you. In fact, Jill loves tacos. Jill loves Latinos too, but not because Latinos are tacos or ‘like tacos.’ No one of any racial or ethnic background is a taco or ‘like a taco’ – especially Latino people. Latino people are the least ‘like’ tacos of ANY people – regardless of whether the people in question are consumers of tacos themselves.

Taco Talk: What Gives?

Joe Biden’s primary caregiver got into hot water this week for saying the Latino community is “as unique as the breakfast tacos here in San Antonio.”

To add insult to injury, she mispronounced the word “bodega,” a small convenience store owned mainly by Latino, as “bogidas.”

Well, it turns out the Latino community doesn’t like being compared to tacos, so the White House issued an apology.

Michael LaRosa, the first lady’s spokesman, said Biden apologized for her words and stressed she was trying to convey her “pure admiration and love for the Latino community” (and presumably tacos).

Also, the Biden administration hopes the First Lady’s offensive remarks won’t keep you from mindlessly voting Democrat in the upcoming midterm elections. After all, that’s their primary concern here.
