Two criminals in Los Angeles have some sweet-looking new bullet wounds to enjoy after attempting to rob the wrong would-be victim.

Video provided by the Los Angeles Police Department shows two suspects – preferred pronouns unknown at this time – emerging from a Dodge Avenger (a reasonably good ‘value buy,’ according to Edmunds) and approaching their intended victim.

One of the would-be robbers points a handgun at the would-be victim, prompting him to draw his own weapon of preference.

It turns out the intended victim is a much faster draw than the suspects, and a better shot too! He must spend more time at the practice range than the suspects.

Police arrested 22-year-old Nicholas Brown and 28-year-old Markeil Hayes in connection with the botched robbery. Brown was suffering from a spiffy new gunshot wound to his upper left thigh, while Hayes was sporting a bullet wound to his right calf.
