Texas Lawmakers Fled State To Block New Voting Bill
About 50 Texas Lawmakers fled the state of Texas on an airplane to block a new voting bill. The Texas Lawmakers flew to Washington D.C., whined about the voting bill in Texas, because of how oppressive it is. They then broke out and started singing “We Shall Overcome”. Texas Governor Greg Abbott said that he’s going to keep calling special sessions until the Texas Lawmakers come back and when they do come back they will be arrested when they land.
