INDIANAPOLIS — Police call him an “accused serial stalker and rapist” – a man they believe is responsible for several crimes in Philadelphia.

He was finally arrested, back home in Indianapolis.

Kevin Bennett was pulled over and arrested for an out-of-state warrant around 1 Saturday afternoon. According to the Philadelphia Police Department, Bennett is tied to several crimes that took place in the area from May 15th to May 18th.

Those crimes include rape, sexual assault, stalking, and robbery.

WPVI-TV in Philadelphia detailed some of police’s reports on the man they believe to be Bennett.

Philadelphia Police say Bennett mostly targeted people who worked at local gentlemen’s clubs. At other times, police say Bennett would stalk women in his silver Dodge Charger with Indiana tags, which was caught on surveillance cameras.

Police detailed another crime in which Bennett is accused of dressing up as an electrical worker, getting inside an apartment, sexually assaulting one person and robbing two others.

Kevin Bennett is currently in the custody of the Marion County Sheriff’s Department. Bennett faces an unrelated vehicle charge in Indianapolis.

He will eventually be extradited back to Pennsylvania, where he will face several more charges.
