Person Killed in Shooting on East Side

INDIANAPOLIS—One person was killed in a shooting on the east side of Indianapolis Saturday night.

IMPD says they were told a person had been shot around 9:30 pm on North Drexel area, which is in a residential area.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
