Manafort Sentenced to 7.5 Years in Prison for Federal Crimes
WASHINGTON — Former Donald Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort is expected to spend most of the next decade in federal prison.
US District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson on Wednesday sentenced Manafort to three-and-a-half additional years in federal prison for conspiracy and witness tampering.
His total prison sentence between two federal courts is 7.5. years in twin cases stemming from the Russia investigation.
Court experts say he will serve between six-and-seven years total based on time served and good behavior.
