Daughter of Howard Co. Sheriff Killed in Crash
HOWARD COUNTY, Ind. – A woman killed in a crash north of Kokomo was the daughter of Howard County Sheriff Jerry Asher, according to Indiana State Police.
Jordan Asher, 21, was killed Monday evening in an accident on U.S. 35 near County Road 80 West.
Police said Asher was heading north when she hit a southbound Jeep Cherokee driven by Jennifer Eastwood of Logansport.
Asher died before she could be taken to a hospital.
Eastwood was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital. Police have not given an update on her condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
