Fatal Shooting of Woman at Northwest Side Apartment Ruled a Homicide
INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has launched a homicide investigation after a woman was found shot to death on the northwest side.
Officers responded to the Scarborough Lake Apartments in the 6400 block of Maidstone Road Thursday afternoon at around 3:30 p.m. They found a woman inside an apartment with gunshot wounds.
The Marion County Coroner’s Office identified the woman as 27-year-old Kamora Woods. Her death was also ruled a homicide.
No suspects have been identified. Anyone with information about the homicide is urged to contact the IMPD Homicide Office.
