KMart Nearly Kaput in Indiana
INDIANAPOLIS — There are five KMart stores still open in Indiana. By the end of the year, there will be none.
The KMart locations in Elwood, Kokomo, Richmond, and Valparaiso will close by mid-December, according to KMart and Sears parent company Transformco.
Liquidation sales will begin later this month.
The KMart in Warsaw is set to close in late October or early November.
As of Aug. 7, there were about 380 Sears and KMart stores still open nationwide.
