DUBOIS COUNTY, Ind. — The man shot and killed outside CIA Headquarters by an FBI agent on Monday was from Dubois County, Indiana.
Dubois County Sheriff Tom Kleinhelter on Thursday said Roy Gordon Cole was the suspect shot and killed by police in a standoff outside CIA headquarters in Virginia, according to WISH-TV.
Cole drove up to the CIA’s gates Monday morning and made statements suggesting he had a bomb in his vehicle, according to police, leading to an hours-long standoff during which Cole was shot.
Cole died after being taken to a hospital, the FBI said Tuesday.
The FBI is reviewing the shooting, as is standard whenever an agent is involved.
