INDIANAPOLIS — A man was seriously hurt after someone shot him inside a home on Indianapolis’ near west side late Friday night.

The shooting happened shortly after 11:30 p.m. at a residence near West Ohio and North Addison streets.

Officers found the man suffering from a gunshot wound inside the home. Medics took him to a nearby hospital, where he remained in serious condition.

Police have not released details about what led to the shooting or identified a possible shooter.
