Remember when Kanye West was bitching about how he couldn’t get fashion companies to work with him on his own personally-designed line of wearable crap?

That’s an anecdote worth keeping in mind as we roll out the latest sales figures for Joe Exotic’s ‘Revenge’ Streetwear, inspired by the incarcerated “Tiger King” star’s infamous feud with big-cat activist Carole Baskin.

Joe’s overpriced shirts, hoodies, sweats, and facemasks sold out within hours of their debut and generated $20,000 in sales, according to TMZ.

Inescapable Conclusion: Maybe not EVERYONE needed a $1,200 check from the government during the pandemic.

The merchandise, created in partnership with Odaingerous clothing brand, is labeled with the words “Revenge … Love Thy Backstabber … and $UCCESS,” along with images of Bengal tigers.

“So many of the qualities in this collection aligned with the things Joe experienced on and off the show, Odaingerous shows the good, bad & the ugly side of ‘Tiger King’ in this bold collection,” the website states.

By the way, Oscar-winning Nicolas Cage, who is universally recognized as one of America’s best AND worst actors, is set to star in a new series based on Joe Exotic’s life.

The show will focus on an eccentric zookeeper in Oklahoma called Joe Schreibvogel, a.k.a Joe Exotic, “who fights to keep his park even at the risk of losing his sanity.”

The series will mark Cage’s first foray into television after years as a film actor. Of course, Nic Cage will take anything at this point.

Hammer and Nigel will have more from 3pm-7pm today on WIBC.
