Johnson County Teenager Performs on ‘The Voice, Picks Kelly Clarkson as Coach
LOS ANGELES — A central Indiana teenager has made it onto NBC’s singing competition “The Voice” after Tuesday night’s episode. 18-year-old Chelle, of Bargersville, got three coaches to turn their chairs while performing “Idontwannabeyouanymore” by Billie Eilish in her blind audition.
Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton and Nick Jonas all liked her performance, but in the end, Chelle chose Kelly as her coach.
Chelle moves on to the Battle Rounds, starting March 23rd.
