INDIANAPOLIS — You could have hundreds of dollars just waiting to be claimed, according to the Indiana Attorney General’s office.
So far this year, the Unclaimed Property Division has returned $36,128,931 to Hoosiers.
Unclaimed property can include financial assets with no activity like dormant bank accounts, lost or forgotten uncashed checks, stocks or bonds, insurance proceeds, utility refunds and safe deposit box contents.
