2 Injured, 1 of Them Arrested for Knox County Crash on Side-by-Side
Deputies in Knox County arrested 27-year-old Jared Cummins on Sunday after the UTV he was driving crashed, causing serious injuries to him and his passenger.

KNOX COUNTY, Ind. — A crash involving a Yamaha side-by-side left two men with serious injuries and one of them arrested in Knox County.
Deputies said the vehicle was found overturned in a cornfield on Sunday. Jared Cummins, 27, told deputies he was the one driving the UTV. His passenger, Dawson Foster, 24, suffered an open fracture to his left knee and is having to go through emergency surgery.
Cummins was found to be unsteady with bloodshot eyes. After a few failed field sobriety tests, further testing of Cummins returned a blood alcohol content of .277, more than three times the legal limit.
Cummins has been charged with operating while intoxicated, resulting in serious bodily injury, which is a level 5 felony. He’s being held on a $10,000 bond.
