INDIANAPOLIS — Tyrese Haliburton may miss Game 6 of the NBA Finals with a right leg injury that worsened during the Indiana Pacers’ Game 5 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Haliburton played 34 minutes Monday but did not make a field goal. He finished with four points, seven rebounds and six assists. Indiana lost 120-109 and now trails 3-2 in the best-of-seven series.

Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle said Wednesday that Haliburton is “questionable” and likely a game-time decision for Thursday night. An MRI is part of his ongoing evaluation.

Haliburton has had the injury all series. Coach Carlisle says the team is ready to play with or without him. If Haliburton can’t play, T.J. McConnell may start.
