Newborn Gets Special Visit from IndyCar Driver Graham Rahal
DECATUR COUNTY– a new mom received an unexpected visit this week.
Decatur County newborn Emersyn McQueen and her mom, Braelyn, was suprised to see that Graham Rahal from IndyCar made a personal appearance….but this wasn’t about race day. Rahal delivered a $1,053 college savings gift card for baby Emersyn, part of Fifth Third Bank’s ‘Gift of College’ for babies born on May 3rd.
Mom Braelyn, a labor and delivery nurse, says Emersyn actually raced into the world early for delivery while she was on her hospital shift.
The Fifth Third Babies program has delivered more than $730,000 in 529 plan funding since 2017.
