Police ID Woman Found Dead Inside Indy Church
INDIANAPOLIS — The death of a woman found dead on a couch inside a church is being investigated as a homicide, Indy Metro Police said Monday.
The body of Julie Morey was found Sunday morning inside St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fountain Square.
IMPD is still investigating and has not provided any details about Morey’s death, including how she died. Police have not said if Morey was a member of the church or explained how her body got inside the building.
