WHITE COUNTY, Ind. — A woman from White County has been sentenced for injecting fecal matter into the IV of her sick teenage son.
Tiffany Alberts, of Wolcott, will spend seven years behind bars for aggravated battery.
She admitted to injected fecal matter into her son’s IV while he was being treated for cancer at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. She said she did it to get him moved to another ward where the “care was better,” according to WLFI-TV.
Her son got an infection that almost killed him. He has since recovered.
Alberts will spend five years on probation after her release from prison.
