IMPD: One Person Killed, Another Critically Injured in Shooting

INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Metro Police say one person is dead and another is in critical condition following a shooting on the southwest side of Indianapolis Friday afternoon.
Officers found the victims in theĀ 1800 block of Howard Street a few minutes after 3:30 p.m. One was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
At this time, it is not clear what led to the shooting. An update on the surviving victim has not yet been provided.
