Civil Asset Forfeiture Is Evil

I am keeping an eye on this story about civil asset forfeiture:
… and what’s happened with FedEx and police going through FedEx packages and deciding if there’s cash in a package because some crime sniffing dog decided there was something.

…and they can keep the cash because they’ll determine it’s from some ill-gotten mean. This has become more and more of a story now. This isn’t the first time we’ve discussed this.
I want every officer involved fired, every piece of leadership fired. I want them in jail. I want them to lose their pensions. I want them to lose their homes. There is no case for civil asset forfeiture when you’re talking about innocent people.
