President Biden Promises Peaceful Transition of Power

WASHINGTON–President Biden addressed the nation on Thursday after Donald Trump won the presidential election.
Speaking from the White House, Biden said he’s focused on the respecting the peaceful transfer of power.
The President said he called Trump and congratulated him on his victory. Biden said he hopes that people can now put their differences aside and work together to move the country forward.
He also said he called Vice President Kamala Harris and thanked her for running a great campaign.
