Man Shot Multiple Times in Greenwood

GREENWOOD, IND — A man was shot multiple times at a home near along County Line Road and North Meridian Street.
Police say Thomas Jefferson was shot in the leg and arm. He was taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition.

The man that shot him, say police, is Randell Emberton. The two men knew each other. Emberton was taken into custody by Greenwood.
Jefferson was then taken by ambulance to Methodist Hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition.
Emberton was taken into custody by Greenwood. Detectives and is currently at the Greenwood Police Department being questioned.
The Johnson County Prosecutors Office will determine if and what charges may be filed in the future.
