TRAFALGAR — As summer moves into fall, you might be looking for some ways to enjoy the seasonal shift.
The Apple Works orchard in Trafalgar has many offerings that you can enjoy this coming fall. There, you can buy fresh apples, pick your own pumpkins, enjoy homemade treats like apple dumplings, and take advantage of the various activities on-site.
Some of these family-friendly activities include a petting zoo, bamboo maze, “super slide,” and playground. If you visit on a weekend, there are even more choices.
The Apple Works is also gearing up for some special events. The pumpkin patch opens September 24th-25th. Then, the Bringin’ on the Blue Grass festival will run October 1st and 2nd. At this festival, you can enjoy food, drinks, live music, contests, face-painting, and more.
If you’re interested in visiting the farm, you can do so seven days a week. Head to apple-works.com to learn more.
