IU Student Dies in Fall from Balcony

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — A student at Indiana University died after falling from a balcony Friday morning.
Bloomington police were called to the Urban Station Apartments just before 6 a.m. Friday and found a man on the sidewalk with significant injuries.
Two women told police that they were talking with the man outside on his fourth-floor balcony when he went over the railing.
The man was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
The Indiana Daily Student has identified the man as 20-year-old Jacob Schleinz, a student at the Kelley School of Business.
Police are still looking into what happened.
