INDIANAPOLIS — If you like to go Krogering at 3 a.m., you might have to find a new place to shop.

Three Indy-area Kroger locations will have new store hours, starting Sunday.

Instead of being open 24 hours a day, the stores on Crawfordsville Rd. in Speedway, W. 161st Street in Westfield, and W. Southport Rd. in Indianapolis will only be open from 6 a.m. to midnight.

Kroger spokesman Eric Halvorson told IndyStar that the stores are doing well financially, people are just changing the way they shop.

“We believe the adjustment will allow these stores to provide even better service to customers during the busiest times of the day,” Halvorson told IndyStar.
