One Person Killed in East Side Indy Shooting
INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead after a shooting early Wednesday morning on the east side of Indianapolis. Police were called around 3:30 a.m. to the 100 block of South Gladstone Avenue.
Officers found a male with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition but later died. Investigators have not confirmed whether the person was an adult or a teenager.
Police say two possible witnesses told them the shooting began as a struggle for a gun. Detectives are still working to piece together what happened.
