IndyGo Bus Crashes on Indy’s South Side
INDIANAPOLIS — An IndyGo bus crashed early Tuesday on the south side of Indianapolis.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says they arrived in the area of South Emerson Avenue and Todd Road before 8 a.m. to look into the crash. Officials say the bus was involved in a single-vehicle accident when it got stuck in a grassy median.
Photos online show the bus as a mangled mess with its windows smashed out, its tires deflated, and its front taking a lot of damage.
Police say the bus driver is okay but in pain, and they expect the bus to be towed from the scene.
It’s ironic that an ‘accident attorney’s’ ad was painted on an IndyGo bus that was involved in a crash. A post on social media says the advertisement on side of the bus is 1-800-Call-Ken.
