MOORESVILLE, Ind.–The bond was set at $1.5 million for Trinity Shockley on Monday. She’s an 18-year-old Mooresville High School student accused of planning a school shooting on Valentine’s Day.

A judge set Shockley’s bond at $1 million surety, plus $500,000 in cash. That means she would need to post $600,000 to be released from jail.

The judge deemed Shockley a significant threat to public safety, leading to her initial no bond status.

The Morgan County Prosecutor’s Office had initially requested a $500,000 surety and $250,000 cash bond. Shockley is scheduled for a jury trial on June 10 in Morgan County Superior Court 1.
