Woman Arrested after Crashing Car in La Porte County

KINGSBURY, Ind. — A woman crashed a car, ran off, and was arrested.
Deputies in La Porte County say Michelle Reeves took a car from a home and then ran into a basketball goal and a tree, and then she ran off naked.
Reeves was later found by deputies inside the home with a towel, as well as the car, which was found after 6 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of West Green Lawn Drive in Kingsbury. Reeves was then taken to the hospital to get tested. She was then taken to jail, where she faces preliminary charges after what she did.
Court documents said on Monday that a case was not shown for Reeves because it’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
