LAWRENCE, Ind. — Police in Lawrence have identified the man shot and killed on Saturday.
Police were called Saturday morning to the area of East 50th Street and North Franklin Road about a person shot.
Upon arrival, officers found 39-year-old Jeremy Seldomridge with at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to Eskenazi Hospital, where he died.
Investigators believe Seldomridge may have initially left his house after hearing or seeing something or someone outside.
Witnesses told investigators that Seldomridge was interacting with someone in a vehicle outside his home when several shots were fired.
