BROOKLYN, NY. — The Indiana Fever lost their second straight game Saturday night, falling 109-102 to the New York Liberty at Barclays Center.

Indiana faced an early deficit despite nine first-quarter points from Kelsey Mitchell, trailing 33-26 after the opening period.

Mitchell finished with a team-high 25 points, marking her 30th game with 20 or more points this season. She now holds sole possession of the second-most 20-point games in a single season in WNBA history—just four shy of A’ja Wilson’s record of 34, set in 2024, with six regular-season games remaining.

Aliyah Boston added 22 points, and Caitlin Clark added 21. Saturday marked the ninth time Mitchell, Boston, and Clark have scored 20 or more points apiece in a single game. That extended their WNBA record. Clark passed assistant coach Briann January (242) for fourth on the Fever’s all-time three-pointers list, bringing her career total to 243.

Despite a high-scoring push in the second half, the Liberty held an 85-78 advantage entering the fourth quarter.

The Fever (24-14) wrap up their five-game road trip Sunday night when they face the Chicago Sky at Wintrust Arena. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET.
