Shooting on Indy’s Near East Side Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Injured

A man was killed and another was injured after someone shot them on the near east side of Indianapolis Saturday night.

INDIANAPOLIS — A man was killed and another was injured after someone shot them on the near east side of Indianapolis Saturday night.

The shooting happened just before midnight on North Lasalle Street, near East 21st Street and Massachusettes Avenue.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers found those two men shot. One of them died, and the other is stable.

The shooting is under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to give IMPD a call at 317-327-3475.
