NOBLE COUNTY, Ind.–He’s being called a hometown hero by the Noble County Sheriff’s Department.
That’s because West Noble High School student Titus Allard saved the life of one his friends Monday. Allard noticed Carl Galloway choking on his lunch, so he ran over and performed the Heimlich Maneuver on Galloway to save him.
Allard didn’t tell anybody about it. It was Galloway who went and told the principal Allard saved his life.
When the principal asked Allard why he didn’t say anything, he said, “I didn’t think I had to and just went back to eating lunch.”
