Help control the pet population; have your pet spayed or neutered. Also, have your wife, girlfriend, or the gal you knocked up after one too many shots of Rumple Minze abort that unborn child in her belly at once! It’s for the good of the planet, damn it!
Senator Bernie Sanders and his magic finger participated in a town hall event in Vermont Wednesday night, and what a revealing session of Q & A-hole it was indeed! Big affair! Lots of cameras, lots of lights. Big Bern even combed his hair for a change.
Anyway, the highlight of the evening (i.e. the most disturbing moment) came courtesy of a homely Sanders supporter who expressed her concerns about climate change and unsustainable population growth around the globe.
“Human population growth has more than doubled in the past 50 years. The planet cannot sustain this growth,” stated Martha Readyoff, a teacher (OMG) from New Milford, Conn.
“I realize this is a poisonous topic for politicians, but it’s crucial to face,” she continued. “Empowering women and educating everyone on the need to curb population growth seems a reasonable campaign to enact. Would you be courageous enough to discuss this issue and make it a key feature of a plan to address climate catastrophe?”
In response, Bernie Bern courageously offered his solution: have the U.S. pay to kill babies around the globe! (paraphrased).
“The answer is yes. And the answer has everything to do with the fact that women in the United States of America, by the way, have a right to control their own bodies and make reproductive decisions.”
Fun Fact: Population growth in the United States is at an 80 year low, according to the Brookings Institute.
Fun Fact: Slowing growth of the U.S. population poses a significant problem due to the rapid expansion of government entitlement programs.
Fun Fact: Bernie Sanders wants to expand government entitlements, but he also wants to reduce the number of U.S. taxpayers for the good of the environment.
Fun Fact: Bernie Sanders is an idiot.
More of Bloviating Bernie: “And the Mexico City Agreement [sic], which denies American aid to those organizations around the world that are – that allow women to have abortions or even get involved in birth control, to me is totally absurd.”
Fun Fact: Bernie wants an ever-decreasing base of U.S. taxpayers to cover the cost of government services in foreign countries, adding to the total of unfunded U.S. liabilities.
Bloviating Bernie Continues: “So I think, especially in poor countries around the world where women do not necessarily want to have large numbers of babies, and where they can have the opportunity through birth control to control the number of kids they have – something I very, very strongly support.”
