Okay, new rule: NO ONE is permitted to invoke the Holocaust when attempting to score points with political constituents. NO EXCEPTIONS. Do NOT do it. NOT in a diatribe about migrant detention centers, NOT in a poorly thought out tweet about Donald Trump, and certainly not a in plea for Americans to eat fewer hamburgers. Do NOT do it! Not under ANY circumstance!

I mention this blatantly obvious common sense tip due to a rather unfortunate reality in our country: Democrats are allowed to run for president. Making matters worse, they’re allowed to speak in public. Ah, but even worse than that, these left-wing “transformers of America” who accuse conservatives of hating blacks, Mexicans, Jews, Muslims, gays, trannies, and kittens are allowed to draw comparisons between climate change and the systemic eradication of six million Jews, and NO ONE CALLS THEM ON IT. What… The… HELL?

You see, Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Indiana was invited to participate in a CNN town hall event on climate change Thursday night. And because he’s a champion of saving the environment at all costs, regardless of the personal sacrifices he might have to make, Mr. Pete hopped on a private jet and flew himself out to CNN post-haste!

This is what our friend Pete had to say when it was his turn to lecture Americans on excessive consumption of hamburgers and straws:

“The fundamental question is how are we actually going to get it done? Because we’ve been having the same conversation for years. In order for that to happen, we have to actually unify the country around this project. And that means bringing people to the table who haven’t felt they have been part of the process. I mean, this is the hardest thing we will have done, certainly in my lifetime, as a country. This is on par with winning World War II, maybe more challenging than that.”

Fun Fact: Nearly 417,000 U.S. soldiers were killed throughout the course of World War II, a number that pales in comparison with countries such as the Soviet Union, which lost more than 10 million men by some estimates.

Here’s Pete in all his glory:

Mayor Pete, no more talking, okay? Not ever.
