SHELBYVILLE, Ind. — An evacuation order was issued last Friday because of flooding, especially in Shelbyville. Many agencies are evacuating because of the rising water.
Many water levels are rising in some areas, including:
- Walkerville
- The Big Blue River’s south side (Indiana Avenue and Eastern Avenue)
- Walnut Grove Campground, which is off of London Road
The official emergency evacuation site is the Shelby County Fairgrounds.
