Woman Killed in Hendricks County Wreck

COATESVILLE, Ind.–A head-on wreck in Hendricks County killed a woman Sunday afternoon. Police say they are still not sure why the wreck happened.
About 2 p.m. on State Rd. 75, near the intersection with Vontress St. in Coatesville, the woman, who was driving a GMC Envoy, suddenly swerved into the opposing lane. Her vehicle hit a Ford F-150.
The woman was taken to Eskenazi Hospital, where she died.
The person who was driving the pickup was also taken to Eskenazi, but is expected to survive.
Police had the road blocked for several hours while they worked on accident reconstruction. They haven’t yet determined whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
