Bloomington Boy Found Shortly After Being Reported Missing

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Police were looking for a missing Bloomington boy Saturday morning, who was found less than an hour after his disappearance was reported.

In a message, officers said 9-year-old Bentleey McGlocklin had last been seen leaving his home on South Basswood Circle. They noted that he had been wearing jeans and a t-shirt, but no shoes.

About 30 minutes later, though, they explained that he had been spotted, alone, about one mile from his home.

At this time, it is not clear why McGlocklin had left his home. “Multiple agencies” worked together to help find him, as well as concerned community members.
