INDIANAPOLIS — It may not surprise you to learn that most of Indiana’s Congressional districts went red on Election Day, with multiple incumbents winning re-election.
Incumbent Republicans Rudy Yakym (District 2), Jim Baird (District 4), Victoria Spartz (District 5), and Erin Houchin (District 9) won their races, while Democrat Andre Carson secured District 7 once again.
Taking Greg Pence’s seat in the U.S. House will be Jefferson Shreve, who recently faced Joe Hogsett in the Indianapolis mayoral race. And, as Jim Banks will be leaving the House for the Senate, his seat will be taken by Republican Marlin Stutzman.
