Rebecca Downs from Townhall.com stops by to deliver a few overlooked points from the vice-presidential debate between Senator JD Vance of Ohio and Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota, and perhaps a touch of scorn for the often anti-semitic members of Congress trying to pander to Jewish voters.

Tony Kinnett:

I mean, it’s hilarious watching. I believe that Kamala Harris endorsed this, this strike of the longshoreman yesterday, right as people were starting to realize how much this was going to affect the hurricane survivors because of the shipping cut off.

Tony Kinnett:

And now her feet have been taken completely out from under her. And we’re not even to Walz yet. You and I talked through pretty much the whole debate. It was wild. You’ve been keeping an eye on some of the fallout from the debate itself. What can you tell us?

Rebecca Downs:

So, I can tell you that multiple polls, like the snap polls we have. They showed that JD Vance not only won the debate, right, CNN had him winning 51 to 49% for Republicans. I joke with my friends, that’s like a landslide with for Republicans. Not only if you haven’t. Yeah. Not only did he have that bump over Tim Walz, this is the highest percent that a Republican vice-presidential nominee has had in in years. He had 51%. I think in the past you saw Republican vice-presidential nominees with like 48%. So, JD Vance did great. He did what he needed to do. He came off really strongly. Tim Walz. I almost felt bad for him… keyword,“almost” yeah, there were reports that he was feeling nervous ahead of time. I think that definitely showed when you whenever you hear reports ohh reportedly nervous. It’s like okay, is the media trying to set expectations really low.

The media is also running cover for Walz by framing his lies as ‘Misspeaks’
