Fox News War Correspondent, Trey Yingst, joined the Hammer and Nigel show live from Israel to discuss what he has witnessed as a journalist during his coverage of the War in Gaza.

Along with daily coverage of Israel/Gaza, Yingst has also been documenting his firsthand accounts of the events of October 7th, the ensuing war, and how it is affecting the everyday civilian. Trey says that his new book, Black Saturday: An Unfiltered Account of the October 7th Attack on Israel and the War in Gaza, gives readers a diverse look at the past year.

“You will hear in Black Saturday from Israeli officials, who are making the decisions about the war that is still unfolding as we speak. You’ll hear from Hamas officials. You’ll hear from Palestinian civilians, Israeli civilians, from hostages who were taken to Gaza on October 7th and then later released as part of the November cease fire deal. You’ll hear from Palestinian journalists.

People who were on the inside of this story, to really get a full understanding of what took place on that morning and the two months after leading up to that cease-fire deal.”

Yingst says he also includes his own personal experiences as a boots-on-the-ground reporter.
