Poll: Trump & Braun with strong lead in Indiana as 2024 Election Approaches
A new poll shows former President Donald Trump is set to win Indiana in the 2024 election. Trump has 57% of support, while Vice President Kamala Harris has 40%. The Emerson College Poll surveyed 1,000 likely voters between September 12-13. The poll’s margin of error is +/- 3%. Only 2% of voters are undecided.

Trump’s strong numbers are similar to past elections. He won Indiana with 57% of the vote in both 2016 and 2020. The top issue for voters in 2024 is the economy, with 44% saying it’s their main concern.

In the Indiana governor’s race, Republican Mike Braun leads with 45% support. Democrat Jennifer McCormick has 34%, and Libertarian Donald Rainwater holds 5.8%. About 13% of voters are undecided in the governor’s race.

The poll also looked at the state’s attorney general race. Republican Todd Rokita has 49.3% support, while Democrat Destiny Wells has 35.2%.
Governor Eric Holcomb, who is not running again due to term limits, has a 35.4% approval rating. About 31% disapprove of his performance, and 33% have no opinion.
