INDIANAPOLIS — By now, you are probably aware of reports that an Indy Metro Police officer is facing charges for child molesting, among other crimes. Now, court documents are revealing more information.
The Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office recently looked into Kamal Bola, after a girl’s family contacted officers.
Bola was arrested Tuesday, and IMPD Chief Chris Bailey suspended him from the force – and recommended he be fired – Wednesday.
Court documents now indicate that Bola admitted that he had touched the girl, and that he told officers he had explicit images saved to his phone. He may have also left a small camera inside the victim’s bedroom.
He apparently even wrote a note for the girl, in which he said, “I am so ashamed and embarrassed… Please don’t think of me as a monster.”
Bola is charged with child molesting, sexual misconduct with a minor, voyeurism, and obstruction of justice.
