Pato O’Ward Wins at Milwaukee, Picks Up Third Win of the Season

MILWAUKEE, WI.–In a race that had seven lead changes among five different drivers, it was Pato O’Ward who came away victorious in Race 1 of the Hy-Vee Milwaukee Mile 250 doubleheader.
O’Ward started the race in the sixth position. He led 133 laps and finished 1.8215 seconds ahead of Will Power. Conor Daly took home third and Santino Ferrucci claimed fourth. Alex Palou earned fifth to round out the Top 5.

Palou is still the NTT Indycar Series Points leader at 514, followed by Power (471), Colton Herta (426), Scott McLaughlin (422), and O’Ward (413).
The green flag for the second Hy-Vee Milwaukee Mile 250 race is scheduled for 2 pm Sunday.
