American Gaffe Machine Joe Biden Bungles Declaration of Independence
Former Vice President and American gaffe machine Joe Biden strikes again!
Biden’s latest verbal slip-up came Monday while attempting to recite part of the Declaration of Independence during a speech in Texas.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women are created, by the, you know, you know the thing,” Biden said.
The actual is: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” But ‘A’ for effort, Joe!
Later in the speech, Biden confused “Super Tuesday” for “Super Thursday.”
Biden’s latest gaffs are impressive in their own right, but they fall far short of our personal pick for Biden’s best gaffe: “Stand Up for Chuck!”
Classic.
Meanwhile, former Mayor Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar have thrown their unwavering support behind the 77-year-old Biden’s campaign for President.
Pete Buttigieg told a crowd in Dallas Monday night that the former Vice President is the right candidate to “bring back dignity to the White House.”
In an appearance on the “Today” show Tuesday morning, Senator Klobuchar told host Savannah Guthrie she thought former Vice President Biden was the best choice for President out of the remaining candidates.
“I was thinking ‘what is better here and what is better for the country,'” explained Klobuchar.
WIBC host Tony Katz, however, questions why Buttigieg and Klobuchar supporters would throw their support behind the former Vice President.
