Governor Braun has thoughts about Indianapolis. The state may have to intervene if Indianapolis doesn’t clean up its act
Ohh. Governor Braun has thoughts about Indianapolis. And those thoughts are a hey, you’re not doing a great job of taking care of you, Indy. Because you’re not. The Chief, Chris Bailey, who I appreciate coming on the show yesterday and we’ve got, we’ve got that at wibc.com.
(He) talked about crime going down over the years little bit. I’ll say good on you. Applaud that. But it isn’t a safe place. It isn’t the place we want it to be. And that’s the goal. What is it that we’re trying to do? You won’t, you won’t get to 0. That’s an irrational thought. And that’s what makes, for example, an Indianapolis concepts of something called Vision Zero so ridiculous. Vision Zero. Well, we’re going to reduce car accidents to 0. No, you’re not. The only way to do that is to get rid of cars, which is of course the ideology of the progressive, which is the want.
That’s what they want. That’s who they are. They can say anything they want. We know the lies. We move right through it. You’re not going to get to zero, not in any normal society. Things do happen. But are we taking the right approach overall? Governor Braun saying that the state could intervene and take over things in Indianapolis of the violence continues the story from John Herrick at wibc.com.
That’s what we need to see the city do a better job of. Right, which is regarding justice. They have time to do it. State troopers will be called into Indianapolis to help keep the peace this weekend.
