Fox News host Jesse Watters is well known for his direct style and unique sense of humor on shows like “The Five” and “Watters World,” which he hosts on Saturday nights. Watters is also part of the lineup at Fox Nation, which boasts 1,000’s of hours of Fox content-on-demand – including three seasons worth of “Watters World” features.

Watters called into the Hammer and Nigel show Thursday afternoon to offer insight and perspective on Wednesday night’s 5th (and counting) Democratic debate.

On Biden:

“I thought Joe Biden lost last night; I think it’s official. I could not understand a word he said. It looked like he had a dark energy around him. His heart wasn’t in it, he made no sense. I don’t see how he recovers from this; I think he’s officially toast.

…I mean, I think we’re now at the ‘at least his eye didn’t bleed’ stage with Biden. We’ve seen him for six months, he hasn’t gotten any better in fact, he’s gotten worse. He’s not raising any money. The only reason he’s surviving is that no one else is going out and taking it. No one has the talent to do it. There’s not enough talent on that stage to pull it off, and I think it’s going to be a long, bloody, painful convention.”

On Who He Projects Will Make it to the Primary:

“Right now, it’s between Mayor Pete, Warren, and Biden, and I think Mayor Pete is at the front of the pack right now. He’s gaining ground in Iowa and New Hampshire, which are key. Now, does he look like a President? No, and I think one counter punch from Donald Trump and he’ll be peeing in his pants. You can be polished when left-wing moderators are lobbing softballs, but once you get into battle with someone like Trump who is so ferocious he’ll rip your throat out, Buttigieg can’t take the heat.”

On Dems Lack of Energy and Political Prowess:

“These people just aren’t politically athletic enough to throw elbows and take this thing. Remember how Donald Trump was in the debates? He just blasted everybody, but I don’t think these candidates that we saw last night have the ability to do that and certainly to stand toe-to-toe with someone like Trump. Now, maybe it’s just too early, but when is the time because it’s getting late.”

Watters also weighed in on impeachment and the testimony of United States Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland, Wednesday.
