Driver Arrested After Running into Home in Lawrence

LAWRENCE, Ind. — Officers say they arrested a person after that person ran into a home in Lawrence Saturday evening.  

The Lawrence Police Department says officers arrived in the 11500 block of High Timber Driver around 5 p.m. to investigate the crash.  

Officers say they found the car when they arrived. They say the driver stayed at the scene, but they had alcohol on them. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated after looking at surveillance video of the crash. The driver is facing misdemeanors as well.  

Officers did not say what the driver’s name was.
