A trans woman from Kansas City is going viral after having six ribs removed in order to get a smaller waistline.
Emily James says the surgery to remove a small section of her ribs cost around $17,000.
Removing the ribs isn’t the crazy part either…
James says she plans on taking the rib bones and creating an accessory with them.
“I plan on having someone make a crown out of them, and like incorporate my bone pieces in there, like shave them down.”
